Our Story.
The kirkmodern website is an introduction to their substantial collection. Each piece is handpicked by Geoff Kirk, who has extensive experience in design and marketing as creative director.
Geoff uses his network of international contacts to source vintage originals and iconic mid-century modern design classics from around the world. Kirkmodern is based in Ireland, with a showroom in Dublin, and Geoff attends shows in UK and Europe. Specialising in Scandinavian post-war design, kirkmodern stocks a range of original mid-century furniture, ceramics, vintage glass and accessories. Of particular interest to the serious collector is the feature collection of iconic works by Swedish designer Stig Lindberg, as well as pieces of original furniture by leading designers sourced directly from Scandinavia

We work with shops, bars, restaurants, cafes to source lighting, furniture and decorative pieces to create quirky spaces and displays with a vintage edge.
We’re also available to assist stylists, designers, architects and art directors with sourcing specific items to a brief.
